Transitioning through ChangeI Married a Merman is unlike the first three books in the series。 Nedra is a human facing a transition into a Merwoman so she can live / breathe。 Echo is the Merman who marries her to have a mate。 The story of their developing love over the course of Neera’s treatments is sweet。 The book dedication to those with chronic illness- “No matter how dark the night， the sun eventually rises” - even sweeter。

4。8 stars。 This one was a little different from the rest of the books in this series。 Neera is stuck in the process of transforming into the same species as her husband， and that is the reason she enters into the marriage pool to meet Echo。 Earth’s atmosphere is toxic to her and she can’t afford to move to a compatible planet on her own。 Thankfully， the prime mating agency pays all the moving fees when they find a match for candidates。 I was a little worried about these two forming the deep conn 4。8 stars。 This one was a little different from the rest of the books in this series。 Neera is stuck in the process of transforming into the same species as her husband， and that is the reason she enters into the marriage pool to meet Echo。 Earth’s atmosphere is toxic to her and she can’t afford to move to a compatible planet on her own。 Thankfully， the prime mating agency pays all the moving fees when they find a match for candidates。 I was a little worried about these two forming the deep connection that the other couples do in this series， at the beginning。 As were they honestly。 But after spending more time with each other and they have the time for their physical connection to blossom， everything else seems to click into place as well。 Not without hiccups along the way， of course， but they never faltered in the budding affection and care they feel towards each other after it forms。 Like with the other books， I was really fascinated with the new culture and species and setting that the Thalon introduce。 Reading about Neera trying to adapt to it all and find her place among them was engrossing and beautiful。 It was super sweet。 I also really loved all the different side characters and animals。 They were all so accepting and amusing and caring。 And then the sex between these two。 The Thalons definitely have alien anatomy and Echo knows exactly how to use it to best please his mate。 It was definitely steamy， but also passionate and sexy。 I just loved this book， and honestly this entire series。 Every time I finish the newest addition， I’m chomping at the bit to learn about the next species of alien and how the next mating will go。 So freaking good！ 。。。more

PMA series is the best I honestly have an impulsive need to read the books in the series because it’s that freaking good。 This series is so amazing and a great quick read for anyone that wants that adorable alien romance but with a variety of main characters。 Most books I’ve read the characters were your typical white female characters but Regine Abel gives us variety and I love it！！
